WELCOME TO THE Health Tourism SHOW 2008 - the brand-new show for medical and health tourism
Font size:

The Health Tourism Show will be held at London Olympia II, 25-26 October 2008.

Health and Medical Tourism is the growing area where you travel abroad to have your medical or health treatment, often saving over 50% on the fees that you would pay in the UK (and usually while having a nice holiday at the same time!)

Our three seminar theatres will allow you to learn first hand all about the possibilities for health and medical tourism, while the many exhibitors that will be at the show will allow you to meet the providers of the services first hand - and compare them directly.

The Health Tourism Show is absolutely unique - where else can you look into the eyes and shake the hand of the surgeon who may be operating on you in a few months time? It could be your life in their hands: and you've got to be able to trust them. The Health Tourism Show will present you with this unique and valuable opportunity.

We look forward to welcoming you to the show!

Robert McCaffrey

Show director

Treatment Abroad (www.treatmentabroad.com) is the UK’s number one web site for information on medical tourism. Patients can find out about healthcare services and treatment in 40 countries, investigate costs and download a free guide to medical tourism.  The site provides information on over 500 hospitals, clinics and agencies that specialise in treating patients from overseas; visitors can read Patient Stories, and access Patient Ratings and Reviews to find out about other patients’ experiences of treatment abroad.

Treatment Abroad has also introduced a “Code of Practice for Medical Tourism” which encourages medical tourism service providers to adopt best practices for dealing with patients from abroad.

Keith Pollard, Managing Director of Treatment Abroad will be running a free seminar “A patient’s guide to medical tourism” on both days of the event.
